Will deleted items just reappear on the credit report?
In an effort to reduce their workload, the credit bureaus have cleverly spread this myth and others through the news media to keep you or your agents from challenging their records. The truth of the matter is, provisions of The Fair Credit Reporting Act make it more difficult for credit bureaus to re-report listings that were not timely verified. It is fairly rare for deleted items to re-appear.
Should a questionable item reappear, it is a simple matter to challenge the listing again noting their violation of FCRA provisions. This will keep you on the right track towards credit repair.
